SLIDING FEE DISCOUNT
TMS New Mexico is committed to providing access to behavioral health services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. A sliding fee discount program is available for eligible self-pay patients based on household income and family size in accordance with current Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Patients may qualify for discounted services by completing a Sliding Fee Application and providing documentation such as recent tax returns, pay stubs, Medicaid/SNAP eligibility letters, unemployment documentation, SSI/SSDI documentation, or self-attestation when other documentation is unavailable.
Patients with active insurance coverage are billed according to payer contractual obligations. Sliding fee discounts apply to eligible self-pay balances and services not governed by third-party payer contracts.
Discounts may be applied to psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and other behavioral health services. Due to the substantial equipment, maintenance, staffing, and operational costs associated with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), discounted TMS treatment sessions are generally not reduced below $85 per session.
TMS New Mexico also offers one free 30-minute medical advocacy phone consultation to any individual regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
No patient will be denied access to medically necessary behavioral health services solely due to inability to pay.
